***NOTE:  The balancing nature of the resulting cross between a "Mountain Rose" Poodle and a "Mountain Rose" Border Collie draw the very best attributes of both breeds while seemingly leaving behind any negatives. Bordoodles are super smart and may be the easiest to train of all breeds. Because they are a cross between the two smartest dogs in the world, Borroodles possess a wonderful mind. They like having things to do, playing games and going places. They are tolerant, affectionate and very loyal. They are ideal as family pets and well suited for kids.

Bordoodles having originated from the Border Collie and Poodle , are most happy when given attention and activities on a regular basis. Bordoodles especially love active sports and are well known to be exceptional athletes excelling in activities such as Frisbee, fetch, obstacle course competitions, and more. They love hikes and enjoy experiencing the great outdoors with their family and companions.

These "Doodle" breeds are recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club (ACHC), Designer Dogs Kennel Club (DDKC), Dog Registry of America, Inc (DRA), International Designer Canine Registry (IDCR) and Designer Breed Registry (DBR) and Continental Kennel Club (CKC).

The Bordoodle's tremendous intelligence and desire to please their owners make training fairly simple. Bordoodles are sensitive and live for praise. They are very obedient and agile, able to be taught a great variety of tricks. They are eager to learn and catch on quickly.

They generally have dark brown eyes, but because of the Border Collie genetics can sometimes (rarely) have blue eyes.
